Port of Call - Lake City

Nice corner bar with good food. I ordered the ham and cheese expecting cheap sliced ham product. But I got a sandwich with pieces of real ham chunks in it. Very delicious and much nicer than I would have expected from a corner bar. The place also has a pool table and games area.

We went here to try it for their Friday night fish fry. Place was fairly busy but not slammed and service was dreadfully slow (it took over 10 minutes to get waters never mind ordered drinks). Fish fry was good with plenty of good quality fish, good batter, good sides quantities as well as decent pricing for what you get.

Waited 50 minutes for food. I understand places are struggling with staff. But, then stop by the table and communicate. Other tables around us were getting their orders and they ordered way after our table. As a server you should check on your table. Especially when it's not that busy. Food was warm at best. Nice looking establishment but needs some inptovement in customer service.

If you?re looking for a beer and a giant pretzel, this is your place. There are 16oz beers in the photo for reference. This thing is like a loaf of bread ???? . It comes on a pizza tray.

Slow service was ignored . Took about 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us waiting. My steak had lots of grissel and had not flavor. My potato was not fully cooked. My friend got a burger asked for it medium well and it was rare.was missing the bacon. We have a summer home there and will definitely not be back again. Years ago we used to go there and the food and service was great.! Thought I'd try it again. A huge mistake!!
