Steak 'n Shake - Lake City

I haven't been to a Steak 'n Shake in a while, and I found this location to be quite good. However, I was disappointed to see that many items have been removed from the menu. They no longer offer malts or chicken tenders, among other things. If you don't eat beef, this may not be the best place for you to visit.

The food is fantastic, as always! However, the restaurant could use a thorough deep cleaning. I understand that they might be short-staffed and have a lot on their plate, but there should still be time for some cleaning. The ceiling tiles definitely need replacing, and the restrooms could use a complete renovation. That said, the quality of the food makes it worth it!

I will never return. The steak burgers looked incredibly thin and barely substantial. There's no way a $10 combo should taste this bland and lack any flavor from the meat.

This is the best place. A freshly cooked hamburger made to order in under minutes. I came in at 1230 pm for lunch. It's a clean, quiet place to eat. This is the best value in town. Competent and polite staff. Keep up the great work. I'll come backevery week for lunch on any random day.
