Unfortunately, the nearest Lee's to my place in LA is an hour away, so I wanted to stock up! While I was checking out, the cashier suggested I buy a whole case (six bottles) since it's only about a dollar more than four. Great idea! I also ordered my favorite, the #12 vegetarian Bánh mì. While the bread was a bit tough, everything else was consistent with what I've had at other locations. I found the prices here to be more appealing compared to the Chino Hills location. Sandwiches were around $5-6, and the Frozen Concentrates were $5 each or $21 for a six-pack. Overall, I'm definitely considering stopping by again in the future. If you've had a bad experience with Lee's before, I suggest giving this location a try!
If you’re still grabbing your sandwiches from the subway, you're really missing out! Vietnamese sandwiches, or banh mi, are still among the most affordable and satisfying meals you can find. There are countless variations of banh mi to enjoy. The classic Dac special features Vietnamese cold cuts, liver pâté, pickled vegetables, and head cheese. A popular breakfast option is the breakfast banh mi, topped with sunny-side-up eggs, onions, and Maggi sauce, all nestled in a buttery baguette. These freshly baked, airy French baguette rolls are typically slathered with mayo, pâté, filled with meat, pickled vegetables, and jalapeños, all for under $4. Just be mindful that not all choices are created equal!
The sandwiches are excellent; they're unique and the service was outstanding.
