Baker House - LAKE GENEVA

During Winterfest we went to check out the Ice Bar at Baker house. The tickets were $15/per person and non refundable. although it was negative below wind chills we powered on. We were not greeted, had to look for someone anyone to except our tickets. FINALLY the only employee we saw the poor on his own bartender in the warming porch proceeded to give me 2 cidars in Styrofoam cups. There was nobody attending or at the Ice Bar which was the reason we went to Baker House to begin with. I don't mind paying for an experience IF I ACTUALLY RECEIVE ONE. I have requested a refund and would encourage this business to better staff their events.

A great evening filled with lively cocktails to begin, a nice bottle of wine, and an awesome dinner. Jordan, our waitress, was kind and professional and the food was outstanding. Everything about our evening surpassed our expectations and we are so grateful for such a wonderful experience. Thank you!

This place is exceptional, with a wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food.

This restaurant has gone through several ownership changes over the years. While they market themselves as a dining establishment, there is often no chef present. The service is highly inconsistent, varying with the season. Prices are quite inflated for what you get. I recommend steering clear of this place—there are much better options in Lake Geneva.
