Red Lobster - Lake Jackson

Dakota, our waiter, was absolutely fantastic. He offered great recommendations and was attentive without us even having to ask. Another server, Cassandra, helped make my daughter's birthday celebration truly special. The food was also excellent. I can’t praise the waiting staff enough!

Our waitress kindly brought over a bucket so he could dispose of what was left of his meal. I had never witnessed anything like it in my life! I was genuinely worried about food poisoning. I immediately approached the manager to express my concerns, but she was cold, rude, and completely unapproachable. I had to ask for assistance for my friend, who was in distress, while I couldn’t even bring myself to eat—I was too frightened and no longer hungry after seeing my friend’s situation. The manager even blamed me for my uneaten meal and iced tea. Having been a manager in the automotive industry for over 20 years, I would have personally comped both meals and ensured that my guests were taken care of. Regrettably, I will never return to Red Lobster in Lake Jackson, and I will be reaching out to the district manager to report their unprofessional behavior.

The only reason I’m not giving a full five stars is due to a minor cleanliness issue; there was a dead bee on the windowsill next to our table. A quick dusting before opening would definitely help avoid such details that customers notice. I also appreciated the little touches, like the chilled bowls for the salad—it’s the small details that can elevate or detract from the overall dining experience. If diners are seated for an hour, they certainly notice these things! I hope this feedback is helpful!

The food does not look like the pictures they advertise, and the Flounder looks more like a Squalid tilapia fillet than anything else. Makkaroni and cheese were also extremely dry.

I have been to this location three times in the last two weeks and I 've had three different servers; yet my experience has been exactly the same each time. All the servers are extremely friendly and do a stellar job of making each visit just as awesome as the last one. The positive atmosphere at this location has made it my favorite restaurant in Lake Jackson. The food is prepared exactly as you ask for it and to a really high standard. The Langostino lobster-Artichoke-and-seafood dip and the Calamari are fantastic starters. The Ultimate Feast is really good, but I 've become a fanatic of the Lobster Lovers Dream . Every item is made to absolute perfection. The restaurant itself is very clean and the temperature is just right for whatever the weather is outside. They thoroughly clean the tables after each patron leaves. The men 's room and parking lot are also very clean and tidy. The staff takes really good care of this location. I HIGHLY recommend this Red Lobster!! If you want a great meal while surrounded by awesome staff in a comfortable and classy restaurant; then stop in to this Red Lobster in Lake Jackson. A service!!
