Coffee and fresh pastries are good. Limited options and sometimes out of stock due to the huge influx of day trippers who come to see the lake. We were hotel guests and this little grab and go was crowded the whole time we stayed. The hotel tries to keep their experience elevated, but this is a tourist spot and that gives the hotel a different feel. Meal type: Breakfast
Limited variety of pastries with high prices. Teller not very friendly and they didn’t let us use the restrooms despite being customers but sent us to the park’s restrooms. Apparently they don’t appreciate non guest patrons. They also don’t allow people to sit in the very spacious corridor for “safety” reasons. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10
We bought lattes and croissants. Both were decent however the experience was tarnished by aggressive staff who unnecessarily made us and other families with children go outside into an intense thunderstorm. There was plenty of room to walk down the corridor, however the staff said it was a “safety” issue. We collected the names of the staff that were most aggressive listed below. Milly, Geetak, and Mustaffa. Food: 2
Beautiful Café, But Not Very welcoming!!! The Guide’s Pantry Café at Fairmont Château Lake Louise is stylish and offers tasty pastries with good coffee. However, the prices are high, and the hotel’s numerous signs make non-guests feel unwelcome, which detracts from the overall experience. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20
