Cast Iron Restaurant - Lake Of Bays

With so many restaurants that are closed during the pandemic, it is great that they have remained open for picking up board, even in the month of november, if they are normally closed. their hours and the menu may be limited, but it is nice to enjoy a meal I have not prepared. cast iron makes me sure to eat during this crazy time.

This restaurant is served by a young couple, the well-being home kitchen. their sauces, marinades, beats, etc. are all made from scratches and really tasted laboriously. I ordered the keto chicken, which was extremely tasty and hearty, but not too salty. it was served over green beans with calf and mushrooms in a creamy gravure. although it was really good, I would have enjoyed it with less force! the brussel sprouts and bacon was also delicious and perfect as an appetizer. I do not enjoy the parmesan so much on the top. it seemed like it wasn't in the court!

Everything is made of high quality ingredients and service is fast and friendly. the chicken wings are large and fleshy, the pulled pig is the best! my man ordered pork on the look for the best in any restaurant and was clearly impressed. the blue...cheese dip is made with the best ingredients and is thick and tasty. gravy is also made fresh. they will not be disappointed, no matter what they order. we come back after year for year to cast iron restaurant although we live over an hour away.

This wonderful restaurant housed our entire girl hockey team, parents and trainer during the icestorm in the januar. we could not have been asked for a better place! each eating was perfect, the server were friendly and all orders kept straight! the bathrooms were clean and...modern...a really great meal at this modern, clean and cozy place.

We have enjoyed many a meal in this lovely little gem of a restaurant. The cuisine is Cottage fare with good sized portions and delicious home made food. The owners are very detailed oriented and wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this family owned and run...restaurant
