The waitress was friendly and apologetic when the mains took over an hour. We were told that one of the deserts that we ordered was in short supply but it never arrived with the other desert that we ordered, again the waitress apologized. They did discount one of our mains and didn't charge us for the one dessert. Will try again.
Absolutely stunning and stellar unexpected in the middle of the woods fine dining. Great service and the food was fabulous, try the pheasant. Incredible views.
An somewhat old and kitsch interior but quiet and rustic so kinda nice. Our food and wine however was under par for the price. The daily catch + risotto was ok (but salty). The wild boar chop was small and dry/chewy.
This restaurant is off the beaten path from Huntsville, but well worth the Drive. It's a very cozy place, the tables are well set up and the chairs are very comfortable. It's a very inviting place on the side of a lake. The food was just amazing, we were a group of 4 on business. We had steaks, trout and wild Boar. The service was top notch and very friendly.I would recommend for business, pleasure, with family for any occasion.I really enjoyed the atmosphere, location, staff and especially the food.
I had not been back to this fine dining place in the middle of the woods for 35 years. I was delighted to find that it was still an excellent bistro, with trout to die for. The prices are not cheap for Muskoka, but not outrageous. The setting is pleasant, overlooking the lake, and the services was polished, and friendly. Everything was more or less the way it was when I was last here. Unfortunately, that included the faux peel-and-stick tile in the men's washrooom stall that is now peeling off and badly needs replaced. Other than that, It was wonderful.
