Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Lake Oswego

We went in for dinner on Tuesday Jan 3 around 5—5:30pm. Upon walking in, there are storage shelves in the dining area. There were only a couple of tables and chairs to eat at but there's nothing about the dining area that says, “let's eat here”. There was only 1 employee working. She was wonderful! She provided excellent customer service. They were about out of the pulled pork and she was honest about what was left of it being the hard, crunchy ends. They were also out of brisket.. 4 of us walked in for lunch to an empty store. The digital menu was not working and the one employee didn’t care to offer an alternative or explain the options to us. We looked at the menu on our phones and walked out to eat next door. Dickeys exhibited terrible service, on top of the store not being inviting. We will not be returning and do not recommend anyone visit this restaurant.

I’m a big fan of Dickeys bbq.. there isn’t one in my hometown so while I was in the area I decided to go here for dinner. Mistake.. should hand known once I found out there was no fryer (no onion tanglers?!? or soda machine/ice cream station that this wasn’t the spot. Sadly the meat was dry, sides were bland and I didn’t even get the onion slices that typically come with the meal, small gripe but I ordered an extra roll to make a sandwich, onion goes great with this. I ordered online. When I got there to pickup, the store was closed. It Had been when I ordered online. The order system and the store have different hours. They still charged me. I have tried calling the online help and can never get a real person to help me get a refund. What a scam.

We ordered Dickeys BBQ for lunch for a group of family members and spent almost $300. The employee at the establishment was by herself on a Saturday at lunch time. She was very nice, but over whelmed with orders. When we got the food home, it was not very good. The brisket was the worst I have ever eaten, the sides were edible, but not very good.
