He struggled to handle the situation, which was disappointing. The martini was overpriced for the location and atmosphere, with a half-full glass costing $11. I am unlikely to return to this restaurant.
I am extremely disappointed that the restaurant is closed. We went all the way there and I had received a confirmation email from them. I am feeling very confused.
This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service from Laura.
We arrived for our 6:30 a.m. reservation about 5-6 minutes early, sat immediately, had taken our drinks orders very quickly, then our food orders for a divided salad and two ducks were taken at about 6:35. We waited and waited and waited for SOMEthing to come as a salad certainly does not take over half an hour to prepare! Finally at 7:10, 35 minutes later, my husband rose to find our server. She looked at him as if she had never seen him before as if she was probably a little shocked when he asked about our food orders for so long. She went right into the kitchen to find out that our ticket was lost, and she returned to our table extremely apologetic and brought us our shared salad. We didn't feel HER was at all guilty, and she said that they did our Entree commands exactly then. At about 7:30 a.m. she brought our food to the table and we had to enjoy our meals. Would we return to Manzana? Maybe, but we would probably mention this on our next server so that it is on the alarm to make sure that the kitchen does not lose our orders again!
Everything was quite good, the only issue was how quickly the main course showed up as it was less than 5 minutes after we got our appetizer. Would have been nice to have had more time to enjoy it.
