Luna - LAKE PLACID

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend, and it turned out to be a delightful find. Despite being quite a distance from the parking lot, it felt like an oasis on a hot summer afternoon. The decor is simple yet appealing. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, the Portobello Chicken Sandwich, the soup of the day, and some beer. The service was quick and efficient, and the food was served warm and tasted fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for high-quality food and excellent service.

I had the pineapple margarita... that was absolutely delicious! Had the chicken parm n the S.O.D, which was absolutely delicious... Great Food Great Service Great atmosphere!! In any case back

This is a wonderful little restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food exceeded my expectations. The pasta sauce was outstanding, and the clam chowder was flavorful, packed with a generous amount of clams. The salad portion was also more substantial than what you typically receive. Overall, the flavors of all the dishes were superb. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I came in (we spend a weekend here, we are from Queens), as everything else in the city closes so early. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was great! Service was great! I hope to be back soon!! Recommend everyone in town!

I have worked as a food and wine Photographer for over 18 years. I came to Lake Placid with my family on vacation and didn’t have any expectations a food being the great. After walking on main street and walking by a barbecue smoke pit. I have the overwhelming since to yak from the smell. I walked a little farther towards the Luna restaurant. Place wasn’t overly packed and seemed very quaint to visit. A gentleman greeted us and set us down and I found his conversation very interesting. He’s from Yugoslavia and we talked about the culture and the food there. We ordered our meal and sat down and visit with each other waiting for a meal. Getting served seem like I was waiting for my plane from China, but the weight was worth every minute. The steak was great and not overly seasoned to kill the flavor than meat. The bruschetta was very good because the rich taste of the balsamic vinaigrette. Overall I would give us place a great review because of the food and the hospitality that they showed. Only thing I would change is if you were the wines on the list, because they’re a palling. So if you ever get a chance to visit the Luna restaurant, you’ll be completely satisfied end know you’re getting a good meal. Thank you for the great experience.
