Great food and fast service! Would totally recommend.

The food was okay, but the server took my order wrong. After asking about her recommendations, I ordered the chicken, but when the food arrived, I had a plate of gnocchi. The chicken would take too long to make, so I accepted the gnocchi. The dinner was good, but the restaurant/server didn't do anything to make right by her mistake. The ambience is pretty, though.

Great place to have an upscale meal in Lake Placid while still enjoying a casual atmosphere. Our party had the pot roast, the scottish smoked salmon, and the potato gnocchi. They were all terrific. The pot roast especially, has a beautiful rich aromatic sauce. The gnocchi is light and chewy, not heavy at all. They have a good selection of wine and craft beer. We shared a dessert, which was underwhelming, a peanut butter cookie of some sort. (wasn't my choice, the others in my party liked it ok). Service was very attentive.

Beautiful views of Mirror Lake. Lobster risotto balls, oysters Rockefeller and enormous and tasty burger with a huge side of frites were all hits.
