Brat From Deutschland - Lake Stevens

The service here is friendly and the German cuisine is genuinely authentic. I've traveled through Austria and Germany, experiencing Oktoberfest in Munich, visiting Berlin, enjoying Schnitzel in Vienna, and savoring pretzels in Bavaria. This restaurant truly does justice to those experiences. The one-pound pretzel is fresh and delicious, perfectly complemented by the beer cheese sauce that adds just the right amount of spice. The Schnitzel is traditional and absolutely scrumptious. Even the selection of German beers would fit right in at any family-owned shop in Germany!

This is a fantastic spot for comfort food and a selection of German beers on tap. The scavenger dish is particularly outstanding and definitely worth trying. The sparrow dish is also excellent. While the sausages are tasty, they do come at a high price. There's a self-serve sauerkraut station and a variety of mustards to choose from, which is a nice touch. Overall, the prices do feel a bit on the higher side, but the food is still very good. If the weather is nice, there's a small outdoor seating area that we prefer over the cramped indoor space, and we always opt for it.

I’m always impressed by the pairing of food and beer here. If you’re looking for authentic German cuisine, forget about traveling to Leavenworth and head to Lake Stevens instead. Everything is homemade!

The carved almond special with green beans was delicious. Add freshly cooked with cold beer, friendly service and food when you order. Can't get much better than that.

Wonderful spot! Great atmosphere and fantastic food. The fresh sauerkraut was mild enough for most everyone, the handcut fries were crisp and perfect, the potato salad was delicious and tangy with lots of vinegar goodness
