In the U.S. a large party is considered 10 or more. They need to change this policy. Next time we'll sit in different tables.
The food was really good. I ordered the Caldo de Costilla and the only negative thing was that there wasnt enough meat for the amount of broth and too much fat on the pieces of meat.
On Friday, September 1st, at 9:56pm, I placed a takeout order for a large picada. Drove 25 minutes to pick up my order, I paid for the picada $35.30) at around 10:55pm. As I was leaving, I noticed that the tray was a bit light, but it was raining and I wasn't about to go back. I got home as I took off the aluminum foil, I noticed that there were more plantains, fries, and yellow potatoes than meat. In fact, this is not the first time this has happened. A few months ago, I came with my family dined in and ordered 3 fruit salads , a breaded shrimp, and a chuletazo. The food came out 20 minutes after placing the order, but the fruit salads were not at the table yet. I had to ask one of the waiters why the salads were taking so long, and 5 minutes later, we got the salads in a to go container and a lot less salad. I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service and the portions of the food for the price at this location. Would I recommend this location to anyone I know ? most definitely not. Oh, one more thing I believe that the takeout charge is put on the bill when the food is being delivered, not when the customer is picking up their own food. They say the charge is for the container, but that charge should already be in the actual price so that customers like me don't second guess the amount being charged. I will not be coming back nor ordering anything from this particular location!!!??????
Quite unprofessional, they advertise business hours until 9 but close the kitchen 1 hour in Advance. No business sense whatsoever. Leasy to attend clients.Understanding the hour of denial of service and properly listing in in Google will help clients to cater dinner for their families and use their time better than chasing another open venue last minute. Is really disrespectful to do false advertising. Out of respect. Change your hours in Google listings so they can reflect what they really are. You should not shot your doors close for your employees confort. You should have a clear policy of 1 hr. Max stay at a table, post it properly so clients are reasonable too. Yet client goes first. Not your employees. I will assume.Restaurants are quite delicate. Next thing you know, for their convenience, they will not follow health protocols or happily help clients.
Communication goes a long way, no matter your purchase. I specifically asked what was their special, guy said there’s salad of remolacha, then when I picked up they look at me weirdo, I had to pretty much insist on paying the bill. Then I get tot be car and the one item I wanted the most was not there. No explanation nor apologies, looked at me like “what you want me to do they ran out”. Like 5 people in that counter and no one spoke, THEY CHARGE YOU A OICK UP FEE THEN PLACE TOP OPTIONS. Not good service and the pechuga de pollo could had been found anywhere, nothing special. Not good customer service!! Disappointing specially when you drive 20mins to pick up and they completely fail!!
