Applebee's - Lakeland

Went in tonight to enjoy a nice meal. Waitress took a while to get to table to even get the drink order. She the gave us napkins and PLASTIC Forks....we ordered our meals. That was okay but before I left I asked why we didn't have Silverware she told me that no one wrapped them. I told her it was a real down grade for the restaurant. As we were walking out to leave we noticed that all the tables had ware. So this leads me to believe our waitress is just lazy. I won't be back for a while and people will know.

Very disappointed. I ordered the neighborhood dbl burger. I took 3 bites before I actually bit into meat. Burger didn't fit the bun. Burger was also rubbery. wife ordered a chicken sandwich with ranch no ranch on the chicken. This is why I haven't been to an Applebee's in 2yrs until today.

Friday night. Almost a full house. We were seated as soon as we went into the door. Very nice gal! Waited only a few minutes for our waiter, Travis. He brought menus and napkins. Said he was waiting on silverware. Wanted to know if we were ready to order. No, would like to look at the menus. Ok, what would we like to drink? Shortly, Travis came back with drinks and took our order. It wasn’t very long for our order to come out. He left our plates and was gone! Sounds like a perfect evening so far. Right? Not so fast. We have no silverware! He’s gone…. Looks like never to return. We asked another server if she would ask Travis to bring some silverware for us. He was a no show! Food is getting cold. Someone dropped off silverware on our table. I didn’t see who it was. Zoom! Still no one asked if we needed anything else. Stopped another waitress and asked if we could get lemon malt vinegar for our fish. Waited. Waited longer. Asked again. Aha! I see Travis. Another drink please. Iced tea? No. It’s Pepsi. Not great food. Terrible service. Very sad. We liked Applebee's.

I was very impressed with the entire staff last night. The place was booming! Our wait was minimal, food brought to us hot, delicious and in no time , our waitress was attentive and always smiling. The 2 young men who were bussing tables were on point and efficient. It truly was an enjoyable meal. Thank you !

The 5 stars are due the great service received by awesome waitress Samantha. She treats us like we are V.I.P. I also like how she was not selfless with us not only engahing with her but also the busy boy or gentleman by the name of Carlos. If there is an inservice for waitress and customer service, Samantha should be apart of the team leading it. We appreciate Samantha service so much that we only want to go when she is there and when she is available. Shes not overbearing and provides just the correct amount of attention. Samantha thank you graciously for your awesome service and hard work. We are looking forward to your elevation even though we will miss you serving us.
