The Rib House - Lakeland

Unfortunately, while the service was good, the menu changes that came with the new ownership are not for the better. Two of my favorite unique and delicious sushi rolls, the Land Sea and Crazy Tuna, are no longer available. The green curry that I used to love has undergone a complete transformation, and the Tuna Tataki tasted somewhat off. The three sushi rolls ordered by my husband and son were, in my opinion, just okay. Additionally, if you enjoyed the free salad bar, that is no longer offered either. And yes, everything now seems to be overpriced!

We visited this restaurant twice for breakfast and lunch, and both times were fantastic. The omelet was one of the best I've ever had—fluffy and made with fresh ingredients. The potatoes were flavorful and crispy as well. The place was also very clean, which is something I really appreciate when dining out. Lastly, the prices were reasonable and you definitely get your money's worth.

Wow! What an incredible deal during Happy Hour! The prices on sushi, appetizers, and 2-for-1 drinks are amazing! The service is outstanding, and there's truly something for everyone on the menu. This place is a small hidden gem in Lakeland that all the locals are aware of!

Band House used to be a weekly station for me. Always enjoyed the food and service. It's been a month on Sunday since I was here. I have to say the food is still great and the service is great.

I had a craving for Sweet and Sour Chicken. I tried The Rib House based on the great reviews. The egg rolls were fantastic. The sweet and sour chicken was not what I was expecting. It came unbreaded in a soup type dish. Tasty but disappointed, I was told it was the Thai version. So I ordered the breaded and fried version. This time it was soggy like uncooked French toast. Last time in Denver, they fried the chicken in the breading and put the sauce on the side for dipping. The flavors were good and the service was friendly and quick. They really cared about making it right. The presentation is beautiful and the serving size is reasonable for the price.
