However, we faced one issue: every time we've stopped in Lakes Entrance, the shop has unfortunately been closed. We’ve even told our friends about it, only for them to find it shuttered as well, missing out on the chance to visit. The shop's operating hours do not seem to align with what’s listed on the website, as we've often arrived only to find a rope blocking the stairs. Despite this, we will keep trying to visit whenever we are in Lakes, as it's definitely worth it!

The restaurant has the most beautiful, romantic, and intimate atmosphere, offering wonderful views of the lake entrance. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the menu features delicious, fresh options, including unique hot chocolate selections. I highly recommend the blueberry dark hot chocolate. They also have a wide variety of handmade chocolates for purchase, including different types of fudge.

The hot chocolate here is really delicious, especially the dark chocolate. However, they don’t handle large crowds very well.

Such a cool little place. super relaxed atmosphere with really unique decor, dale the owner was a really friendly guy who made us an amazing hot choccy and truffle as a little dessert. just can’t get over how cool the place is. and thanks for the scoop of christmas pudding ice cream! 100% would recommend coming to suss the place and enjoy a warm beverage. apparently all choccy is house made which is awesome, and basically everything is gluten free

What an amazing little secret this shop is. The owner is incredibly passionate about their work and all of their chocolates and allergen free licorices are works of art. We had an amazing breakfast that was fantastically priced. Would 110% recommend you enjoy a meal there with a gorgeous view over the water (and get some treats to take home for later to savour the memories! .
