Shaketown - Laketown

Food: 5 stars Shakes: 5 stars Service: 4 stars The young man who took our order had some trouble getting it right; my wife ordered a burger with mustard, mayo, lettuce, and pickles, along with fries, but she received a plain burger with no toppings at all and no fries. The fries our companions ordered were good but lukewarm. However, they promptly replaced them with hot ones. I have a couple of suggestions for the owners: consider placing squeeze bottles of mustard, mayo, ketchup, and fry sauce on the tables instead of using those little foil packets. Also, try toasting the buns on the flat top or grill, as the room temperature buns aren’t ideal. We will definitely return to this place and look forward to giving them a full 5-star review next time!

The fries were battered and absolutely delicious. The onion rings were fantastic—definitely a must-try for ring lovers. As for the burgers, they were excellent, made from a mix of chuck, brisket, and short rib. I heard that their beef is never frozen, and it showed; the burgers were juicy with just the right amount of crust on the outside. My wife had the chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. The shakes were made with real fruit, which was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back!
