Feedback gevenCaution to all customers! They sell expired milk and spoiled products, and their customer service is utterly disappointing!
They used to be amazing, but now I've found myself waiting in line for up to 30 minutes! Prices have increased, and the staff is rude and slow. On three different occasions, it took over five days to complete a single order! I'm done with this place!
Every time I went grocery stores at Hyvee, most items on sale or deal for the week are usually ringing the normal price. Here's the best part! I have to let them know every time that it's not the right price. And the manager who fixes the price can get NIE the price right. You take money from the article instead of price adjustment. So...Please train your employees and make sure they know how to mathematics. Or rent competent people who can actually do the job.
I usually make a stop at Hy-Vee when I'm looking for something special. This trip it was for fun stuff to get for a Raclette party plus a fancy dessert. I got the usual fruits and veggies but had fun picking out charcuterie tray meats, olive paste, and the real Swiss raclette cheese (amongst many other cheeses). They were having a special on different kinds of brats so I added a variety of those to my list. Their breads and crackers are unique. It's a great place to explore and come up with creative ideas to make your menu more interesting. Their desserts are always creative, festive, and fancy. I have a hard time deciding which one to choose. This time is was chocolate chocolate cake. Yummm
I had quite the interesting experience with attempting to pick up a prepaid holiday meal order. The staff in the correct area seemed to not know where to look for it. They looked In what they assumed was the correct area but came back saying that there was nothing with our name on it. I spoke to a very helpful and sympathetic customer service person who said it would have to be taken up with a manager. That would have been fine except that they didn't have a manager on duty at the time. Disappointed, I returned home and checked our bank account and found that we had not charged for the transaction. Okay, that was disappointing but we reordered the exact same thing again and scheduled it for a weekday which I thought would be far less busy. I arrived and had the exact same experience. No manager again at 7:00 pm. We were instructed to call when a manager was there Okay but this time we were charged. Quite upset we called the following day and actually spoke to the allusive manager. He was quite helpful and took our number to call back after investigating for himself. A proper response. In less than 20 minutes, we received a call from the same manager who said the order was where it was supposed to be and apologized for our inconvenience. It was snowing quite hard that day and said he didn't want us to have to go out in it because of their error. He said they would speak to the staff and retrain them so this never happened again. He had his delivery person bring it to our door who repeated their apology and said that they hoped nothing like this would ever happen again. It restored my faith not only in the store but humanity in general. Thank you to manager Noah and the delivery gentleman for their prompt response. We will return not only for holiday dinners but for our everyday shopping needs.
