Little Lake Brewing - Lakeville

I frequently visit Little Lakes for their fantastic muffins, coffee, and breakfast. This time, we decided to try the sandwiches at the outdoor grill for dinner. We were not disappointed - my husband enjoyed the prime rib sandwich and onion rings, while I savored the salmon BLT. The food was so delicious that I got upset at my husband for taking a bite of my sandwich because I wanted it all to myself. The service was excellent as well. I am looking forward to returning soon.

While I see the appeal of Little Lake with its large portions, affordable prices, and sweet offerings, it wasn't to our liking. We sampled some muffins that were tasty but overly sugary. The baklava was also too sweet, with a huge portion exacerbating the issue. The avocado toast, made with Texas Toast, lacked the desired crunchy texture. While there was plenty of food, the balance of flavors and textures was off. The coffee was good, but as someone with a dairy allergy, the only alternative was oat milk, which is surprisingly high in sugar and not preferred. Overall, Little Lake may be a good choice for those needing a sugar boost during a day out on the boat, but it wasn't our cup of tea.

I recently stopped by this restaurant for a cup of coffee. The woman working there seemed annoyed by my arrival, as she did not smile or greet me. I overheard her in the back saying that I had just gone ahead and sat down, even though I was actually waiting patiently to be served. She soon disappeared without attending to me. Wishing her a nice day.

FINALLY, a place that has a great dark roast. Actually, it's pretty damn amazing. The blueberry scones are phenomenal as well. Definitely a new fave go to spot. Now, just need to learn to leave for work a few minutes earlier so I can get my coffee in the morning.
