The Spotted Owl in particular was amazing; it was well balanced and had a refined taste. The food was really good. Appetizers, salads, and main dishes did not disappoint. The potato puree that came with the meatloaf was creamy and had the beautiful consistency of a mousse, while meatloaf itself was a hit. The Italian sausage Bolognese pasta was also delectable. The one thing I was not impressed by was the dessert. We had a blondie-esque dish that was ok, but not as mind blowing as the previous courses.
It's very small inside, there isn't much seating. They do have a big menu and drink selection. The bartender Matthew was very personable the crust on their pizza is bangin.
Tried out this place for the first time and were overall very happy! We will definitely be coming back. Cool atmosphere, but smaller than expected. We sat at the bar, service was friendly prompt. There is a main entrance at the back, but people kept coming in the front by the end of the bar where we were seated. It was freezing all throughout our dinner every time the door opened. It would be nicer if everyone could come in the main entrance then people wouldn't have their dinner interrupted. I got the OH Beef Burger, delish! And the House Sausage pizza, awesome! We were impressed with the cocktails. I got the Papa oo Mau Mau it was good my husband got the Sunset at Impett that was incredible!!! Highly recommend!!! My one big disappointment was that online they advertise a Happy Hour 4:00 6:30, it did not list which days so we assumed there weren't day restrictions. We got there and the menu said the exact same thing... No days/limits listed. So we thought it was happy hour! It was a little disappointing to find it out their happy hour is limited to Tuesday Friday. A more clear website would be appreciated.
Excellent cocktails and food. Great service and the place has a cool vibe. Loved the salmon burger, pulled pork pizza and ' ...now that 's class! ' Cocktail. A+
Tldr; drinks, service and food are great. My wife had a Dead Man's Curve pricey but worth the $12. It was an awesome drink. I took advantage of their $5 draft happy hour that the waitress was kind enough to remind me of since we came in at 625 and it ends at 630. I also got their whisky flight which was really good the bourbon is fantastic. The bbq curls were good but I really liked the blue cheese dressing it comes with. If you get the chance I highly recommend the Chicken Saute. The polenta was the best I have ever had. I thought the carnitas sandwich was slightly dry but the side salad I got totally made up for it. My only complaint is I felt like there were a lot of tables but not enough space. You kind of feel like you are in the table next to yours conversation but that kind of comes with the territory of open floor plans. Oh almost forgot about dessert! Do yourself a flavor favor and get the Nutella Banana Crisp. You'll thank me.
