Donatos Pizza - Lakewood

The food was good overall. I was informed that it would be ready for pick-up at a specific time, so we arrived five minutes early, just to be safe. However, the food was brought out 15 minutes later than expected. While it's not a major issue, it was a bit frustrating.

Donatos offers excellent pizza along with good gluten-free options and impressive customer service, especially considering that most of the staff are teenagers. Today, I tried placing an online order for the first time and chose to customize my own pizza. I mistakenly thought that cheese wasn't included, despite it being listed as a topping option. When I realized that my cheese-free pizza actually had cheese, I brought it to their attention, and they promptly remade it for me at no extra charge, without making me feel guilty for my mistake. I will definitely continue to frequent Donatos in Lakewood!

I arrived at the pick-up window five minutes after my scheduled time and ended up waiting ten minutes while two young children inside chuckled and smiled at me. Neither they nor the young lady who occasionally peeked out attended to my order. After fifteen minutes with no updates, I was about to unbuckle my seatbelt and go check on my order, but thankfully, a staff member named Ben saved the day. He was very friendly and took the time to listen to my concerns. I expressed my frustration that no one had acknowledged me or informed me about the status of my order. He agreed and apologized for the situation, which was appreciated. I still gave him a tip because of his professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience highlights that Ben seems to be the only positive aspect of this place; the kitchen was dirty, the staff appeared unprofessional, and the wait time was excessive.

Do not order from this place. we ordered delivery for 2 large pizzas and 30 bone in wings. the order did not show within 1 hour 45 minutes. we went into the load and they told us that they had messed up the order and that they would deliver our order. 2:30 hours later, no eating. they will not answer now. 60 dollar lost
