El Pollo Loco - Lakewood

In my head I rated them a 4 and its because they never ask me if I want spicy chicken and I never remember to ask for it because Ive never seen it on the menu. I always remember when Im heading back home. Ohwell, next time. Other than that their well deserving of a 5. Good food, clean, and their always friendly.

Update: Chicken is still dry and overcooked, and they still leave everything in order. While the taste is good, I don't like dry chicken. I've been here for years, and I love her chicken. However, the chopped chicken in the Tostada bowl and salad was very dry and chewing, with little taste. They also forgot my drink and the dressing for my salad. I will give them another chance, but service and quality must improve.

The location has much better in the sense of the ride thru service. It's been a while since I had a missing item. The only real complaint, and this could only be due to cooperation, is it nice if there were more rice and beans in the chicken tostada salad.

You always serve old chicken. If you order a Tostada Salad, AKWAYS should be fresh, including meat! I couldn't even enjoy it and the rice was hard and not well cooked or old. It was tasteless they have better to do

I love some parts of the menu, especially burritos without rice (chicken avocado, keto). This time I ordered just the burrito and a drink (I had a coupon), but was served a combo (not covered by the coupon). My e-coupon was thus both unusable, and voided for future use. Not the end if the world, but the server did this without asking me. She said she thought that it would save me money (not understanding the coupon). Her heart was in the right place, but I didn't get just what I went there for.
