Family Deli - Lakewood

I frequently visit this store and have always had a positive experience. The staff is friendly, the produce is fresh, and I can consistently find what I need. There's an excellent bakery on-site and a variety of restaurants to choose from. In the meat section, there's a family-owned shop that offers delicious Korean side dishes. Each time I stop by one of these places, the staff is courteous and often provides helpful suggestions for food pairings, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend giving this store a visit!

I must say, I was very impressed during my visit! This was my second time going there, but my first visit was just a quick stop for one item. This time, I took my time to explore, and I discovered they have almost everything! They even stock fresh tilapia, a variety of fresh produce, several types of rice, and a wide range of international products. Their customer restroom was also well-maintained and clean.

This place is really awesome! I wanted to make authentic miso soup, so I approached one of the staff and asked for tips on how they prepare it at home. They kindly showed me everything, and the miso soup turned out incredibly delicious! It’s definitely worth a visit. Just keep in mind that it’s quite different from an American grocery store, so go in with an open mind. I'm always discovering unique snacks there!

I visit this store at least twice a month. They offer a wide variety of products that you won't find in your regular grocery store, which is fantastic. Compared to other Asian markets, this store has a much more pleasant smell. Oops!

I always enjoy stopping by Pal-Do for a variety of essentials and unique items that are hard to find elsewhere. While there are several similar markets in the area, Pal-Do has become a go-to spot for our family. The quality of the meat and produce is consistently excellent, and although I can’t speak directly for the seafood, it always appears fresh and high-quality. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant inside is fantastic as well! I do wish there was a bit more variety in some of the non-food items, like rice cookers and household goods, which can sometimes be challenging to locate locally, but that’s a minor issue. Overall, we're thrilled to have this store nearby and thoroughly enjoy shopping there!
