Gang Nam Korean Bbq - Lakewood

I would love to give 4.5 stars, but I'll go with four. The restaurant was very busy and had a fast-paced atmosphere. However, after being seated, we waited about 15 minutes before a server came to assist us. Once we placed our initial order, the food arrived quickly, and the staff was attentive. The complimentary ice cream at the end was a nice touch—though it wasn't the highest quality, it's free, so I can't complain!

In my opinion, this restaurant surpasses Gen. While it isn't very large, I appreciate the smaller crowds and significantly shorter wait times compared to other places. The food was fantastic, and the service was superb. Mario was incredibly attentive, always greeting us with a smile and quickly bringing our dishes. The side dishes were also outstanding. My favorites were the spicy cucumbers, kimchi, potatoes, and macaroni salad. To top it all off, the vanilla ice cream cups to go were the perfect dessert. I will definitely be coming back to this place!

I've been visiting this restaurant since 2008. Although the ownership has changed several times and prices continue to rise, the food remains consistently good. Plus, you always get ice cream at the end of your meal! They've recently introduced a new option for the ice cream: plain vanilla or vanilla with Oreo crumble. However, they no longer serve cucumbers, which is quite disappointing. Despite this, it's still a place I will continue to visit.

The meats are very delicious, attentive waiters, and great location with plenty of parking. I visited within the hour that it opened so we were seated right away. A great place to have kbbq for dinner.

Giving it 5 stars because I got more than expected. It's almost packed every weekend. Don't like waiting so I finally made time and went earlier during a Friday, it seems rush hourS we're barely starting as there were a lot of open and clean tables and we had to wait for almost 20mins. Once seated our servers were amazing. Menu was extense and prices are great. There's even free ice cream for dessert. It is smaller than other bbq places but it was a great experience, would definitely recommend it and most likely will go back, but beware of weekend nights, it gets really packed.
