Mars - Lakewood

The homemade flavors are fantastic! I highly recommend visiting on Thursday evenings when they serve a special pork gyro. It was excellent—spit-roasted pork paired with tomato, onion, French fries, and a homemade yogurt cucumber mustard sauce. This dish was truly unique. I can't wait to go back!

I absolutely love Mars Bar! The atmosphere, prices, and food are all fantastic. Their vegan options are especially delicious. The patio is lovely and dog-friendly, which is a big plus. The service is consistently great. There was even a time when they ran out of veggie kabobs, and the owner went into the kitchen to whip up something special for me since I'm vegan. I can't recommend Mars Bar highly enough!

I visit primarily for the gyros and I'm really pleased with the updated kitchen and menu. The venue still has that classic Cleveland dive bar vibe, despite the significant renovations. If you're exploring Lakewood for the first time, Mars Bar should definitely be a stop on your list.

Only visited once but I liked it. People were friendly and the atmosphere was good. I had a gyro with fries, the food had good portions but I wouldn't recommend the gyro only because it's not not the chunks of meat rather the thin sliced strips and in not fond of that gyro meat. I'd go again when I'm in the area but will try a different food item.

Get the fresh-cut French fries!!! My cholesterol is peaking lol (kidding). This place is Yumlicious!!
