Samwon Garden - Lakewood

The menu may be limited, but the authentic Korean food is excellent.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Although the restaurant has a bit of a rundown appearance typical of some Korean places, it's definitely a case of not judging a book by its cover. The owner isn’t overly friendly, but they aren’t rude either. The atmosphere could really use an upgrade; it’s not very inviting, and there are only about five tables. Overall, if you're more focused on enjoying authentic Korean cuisine rather than the restaurant's appearance, this is a place you should definitely give a try.

The restaurant may be small, but it has a lovely and cozy atmosphere! I ordered soondae and Korean beef soup, and both dishes were delicious. The side dishes were outstanding too. The Korean gentleman who served us was very friendly and welcoming. I definitely plan to return more frequently!
