Smashburger - Lakewood

The hardworking staff deserves a round of applause and a trophy! She made sure our order was perfect, ensured we enjoyed our meals, and kept the place impeccably clean.

It took an hour for my order to arrive, and when it finally did, it was not only incorrect but also inedible. Thankfully, Grubhub issued a refund, but I won’t be dining here again. The crispy chicken sandwich felt like a rubber puck – I couldn't even pull it apart with my fingers. This place used to be so good.

I've done deliveries for several different companies, and this restaurant is an absolute disaster. The staff seems clueless about how to use the online ordering system, and when faced with their own ineptitude, they just dismiss you. They often ignore you when you ask about your order, which can be frustrating, especially when orders are already 20 minutes late. The restaurant is consistently understaffed, yet I see employees hanging around the grill instead of attending to their duties. Having worked in similar environments, I can assure you that this job isn't difficult; it's just really frustrating to deal with.

I had no ice cream. Me? I'm ordering an avocado burger with fries, hatch spouts and smash-ries and a drink. $26. My burger is stacked, but that? I can't all my ideas? And the manager was in the kitchen, makes sense. It wasn't even 7:00 and nobody was in the store. That was sad. I should have left when I remembered that I wanted to be right in the middle.

Staff Are friendly and fast, and the food is great.
