Smashburger - Lakewood

Walked and was told I couldn’t even place an order for 5 min. The cook in the kitchen needs to be able to catch up. So sitting here waiting to go up again so I can place my order. I’ve never had this happen in any restaurant. Not even place an order, can’t even have a drink while I wait. I get it if they’re behind but this is ridiculous. There is literally one group of five people sitting in here right now waiting for their order. The place is literally empty right now.

I didn't like eating here, the bread was cold and the bacon was very burnt.

I have been here a few times over the past couple months and every time staff appears to hate their job and customers. No one ever greets you, they stand at the register just staring at you till you approach and they do not seem approachable. Last night staff was complaining out loud about more customers walking in, throwing food in bags and throwing burgers around in their to-go window. I work in the industry, it’s stressful at times, but it’s such an unwelcoming negative atmosphere.

Closes at 10, but doors locked at 9?? Google says busier than usual but nobody is inside

At the request of the manager, we gave this place a second chance. Still, they got everything wrong and forgot parts of our order. If you like Smashburger, its worth it to drive to the next closest location. This one will let you down again and again.
