Sunrise Café Lakewood

Waitress that sat us was great. Food was also great but there was a guy that walked by screaming drinks, drinks, do you have drinks. I mentioned I was waiting for the rest of my party and he walked away. A few minutes later he showed up again saying where are your drinks. I then explained I was waiting for all our party and we did not have drinks when he replied I ask you two times already rudely so I told him to take our order then. Other than that it was our first time there and everything else was good.

Maria was our server, and she was absolutely fantastic. She recommended a few dishes for us, and we decided to go with her suggestions, which definitely did not let us down. Her great personality and warm demeanor made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

This charming little old-school cafe is a great spot. I stopped by for coffee while waiting for my family to arrive at Long Beach Airport, which is just a short distance away. The food was excellent!

The waiter seemed to overlook us a few times and didn't come by with coffee, even though he appeared to be in charge of it. We had to call for the waitress on several occasions. Overall, no one checked in on us during our visit.

This was my first time here, they have a variety of bkft and lunch items, it was good
