Feedback gevenThe person at the counter was incredibly rude! There was no greeting when I walked in, nor any thank you when I left. I needed a receipt for my gas and waited at the counter for assistance. When he finally came out from the back office, he stopped, saw me, rolled his eyes, and sighed as if my presence was a burden. I politely asked him for a receipt for pump 4, and he responded with a bratty sigh, slammed the cash register keys, yanked the receipt out, and slapped it into my hand before turning around and walking away. This was the worst customer service I've ever experienced at Casey's!
During a 12-hour road trip, we stopped at Casey's in Lakin, Kansas, to refuel. With a 5-year-old and a 9-year-old eager for a bathroom break, we arrived at 8:45 PM, and the store was supposed to be open until 10:00 PM. However, the cashier informed us that we couldn't use the restrooms because they were being cleaned. I pointed out that since they were still open for business and we had purchased gas, food, and drinks, we should be allowed to use the facilities. In response, she rudely insisted, "We are cleaning the bathrooms, so you can't use them!" This experience was disappointing and reflected poorly on the business.
The restaurant urgently needs a new manager. The work ethic, starting from the top, is quite poor. They rarely answer the phone, and the pizza and baked goods are not consistently ready at the right times of day. It often takes a long time for them to prepare the pizzas. This feels like sheer laziness on the part of the management.
I worked there and it's a horrible place to work for! General manager did not run the place professionally at all. No leadership in that store what so ever! I was embarrassed to work there as a team member that's why I quit!

It took a while for him to come out from the back, and when he finally did, he stopped, rolled his eyes, and sighed as if my presence was an inconvenience. I politely asked for a receipt for pump 4, and he let out an exasperated sigh, typed the cash key in a rough manner, shoved the receipt into my hand, and then just turned around and walked away. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at Casey's!
