The food was excellent & the service prompt. It was a meal that I will enjoy the memory of for quite some time to come.
I chose this restaurant on local recommendations and others who had been. First off, you would be wise to book and an early evening slot was ideal, for our party of 6. We all chose the fixed price Menu at 19€ and started with oysters or a meat platter followed by entrecôte or veal. All were cooked to perfection, as ever a medium steak in France is more like a rare in the UK, nonetheless it was well presented and accompanied with fresh vegetables and frites. Local wine and beer as accompaniment was suggested and went really well. Dessert was equally well prepared. The premises were really clean and well tidy, the owners took time to explain the menus and ensured we were happy with the choices. Overall a very good choice of venue, for a Tuesday evening it was full and a the other restaurants nearby were empty, says it all
This restaurant is owned by a couple. He is the chef and she is the maitre 'd. Together they manage to serve some super flavourfull food. The only problem is that there are so many flavours that at times they struggle to form a harmonious marrigiage. However this is still the best restaurant in town!
We had a very good repas at this newly renovated restaurant. The gourmet menu was beautifully prepared and presented. Ambience was peaceful and relaxed. The establishment was run by a husband and wife who were charming. Important to book as it is very popular.
Fresh and tasty food, well presented. Service perfectly timed. Good wine. Coffee accompanied by little treats. In summary, good value and quality.
