A tasty 'Pineapple Bun ' 菠蘿包 for breakfast traditional soft bun with a crunchy cracked golden topping, yum! Don 't hesitate to add a thick slice of butter...
Just for the good o’feel. Taste wise just as others even the egg tarts that I thought is famous. But a must try anyway.
A long-standing Hong Kong-style cafe or cha chan teng at Happy Valley. It’s been through management and ownership changes. The food you could get here is mostly the iconic Hong Kong bakery, noodle and rice snacks. Service was average since it’s always been a busy cafe and the waiters/waitress were too busy to attend. We have come back from time to time to enjoy the local flavor though.
Had a quick afternoon bite at this “cha chaan tang”. Ordered the ham fried egg pineapple bun with a hot milk tea. It was quick but otherwise tasted quite ordinary. It was though a nice break in a hot afternoon.
