The buffet-style setup offers vegetarian options on the left (including eggs and possibly dairy) and vegan options on the right, with no meat served. The restaurant features Chinese steamed rolls with vegan fillings and fresh vegan dim sum. The food, which I have only tried the vegan options, was quite good and offered a wider variety and better taste than what you would typically find at other shops in the area. The steamed rolls and dim sum were particularly delicious. The owner has put effort into the decor and painted art on the walls, and the shop is kept very clean. She is friendly and speaks good English, making it easy to ask questions or make special requests. The restaurant has indoor seating and also offers outdoor seating. I highly recommend this place, especially considering its remote location. For those looking to visit, head north and the restaurant is located a few hundred meters past the Shell Station on the left.
We dined at this restaurant a few years ago when it was a vegan establishment. It has since closed and reopened with a new management team and a nice redesign. When we visited, we found a buffet-style display with vegetarian options (including eggs and possibly dairy) on the left side and vegan options on the right. They do not serve meat. On the right side of the restaurant, there are Chinese steamed rolls with vegan fillings and fresh vegan dim sum. The food was delicious (I tried the vegan options) and offered a better variety and taste than what you would typically find at a street food stall, especially in this more remote location. The steamed rolls and dim sum were particularly impressive and tasty. The owner has made an effort with the decoration and there is beautiful painting on the walls. The restaurant is also very clean. The owner is friendly and speaks excellent English when asked questions or for special requests. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor seating available. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially considering the lack of other vegan options in the area. Location tip: heading north, the restaurant is a few hundred meters behind the Shell gas station on the left.
We had dined at this restaurant several years ago when it was also a vegan establishment. It had closed for a period of time but has now reopened under new management after a nice remodeling. The buffet style food display offers vegetarian options on the left side, which may include eggs and dairy, and vegan options on the right. No meat is served at this restaurant. On the right side of the shop, you can find Chinese steamed buns with vegan fillings and fresh vegan dim sum. The food, which I only sampled the vegan dishes, was all very delicious and of a better variety and taste than what is typically found at a roadside jae shop, especially in this remote location. The steamed buns and dim sum were a pleasant surprise and very tasty. The owner has made an effort to decorate the shop and paint art on the walls, and the shop is kept very clean. She is extremely friendly and speaks excellent English if you have any questions or special requests. The restaurant has open-air seating available. I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly considering its location so far from any other vegan establishments. Location tip: Head north and the shop is located a few hundred meters past the Shell station on the left.
