Sweet Pickle Deli - Lampasas

The food at this restaurant is simple yet incredibly delicious. I tried the chicken salad sandwich and pimento sandwich, both of which were some of the best I've ever had. The potato salad and sweet pickles were also very tasty. And the Dr Pepper chocolate cake was perfectly sweet and moist. The prices were great for the quality of the food. The owner, a sophisticated woman, clearly knows what she's doing.

This charming restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, helpful staff, and distinct decor. The potato salad was outstanding, especially with the addition of bacon. Even though I typically don't enjoy sweet pickles, these were incredibly tasty. The chicken salad sandwich with rye bread was delicious. For my vegetarian partner, they enjoyed the pimento cheese and a satisfying spinach, strawberry, feta, and walnut salad from the vegetarian menu.

This is a little deli that I and my husband likes going to when craving a nice home cooked sandwich and soup or salads, with their own style sweet pickles hinced the name, they are good, I'm not one for sweet pickles but these I will eat, they arereally good. So I will recommend this place if your in town and wanting a nice little place to have a good lunch.

This restaurant is an adorable spot to have lunch. I ordered the chicken salad, which was delicious. My 9-year-old son had a hamburger on a jalapeno bun that he absolutely loved.
