Irwell Works Brewery

This is a fantastic bar with an excellent selection of beers. I tried the Marshmallow Stout, which was delicious, and followed it up with two malt whiskies.

If I had a pub, it would be just like this one. The selection of house-brewed ales is unmatched, and the head brewer is truly a magician. The bar staff are not only incredibly friendly but also very efficient. I gladly travel about 10 miles to visit this hidden gem of a pub and brewery. The atmosphere is consistently welcoming, and the patrons are always open to newcomers. The music nights only enhance the experience, reinforcing my belief that this is, without a doubt, the best pub in England! There, I’ve said it!

On Tuesday, June 6th, 2023, I visited this wonderful brewery, which offers a friendly atmosphere and a cozy vibe. The staff behind the bar truly appreciate and understand real ale, enhancing the experience. The brewery also serves delicious, high-quality real ales. If you're in Ramsbottom, this place is a must-visit for real ale enthusiasts!

Love this place..... but why, despite being open all day on a Bank Holiday Monday is it shut at 8pm???

Visited on 27/4/23 it was 9 degrees Celsius outside and about the same inside this place. Unsurprisingly, people sat around with their coats on. Brewery must spend all it’s money on gas to brew keg cos they don’t spend it keeping the patrons warm.
