We visited on Tuesday with a group of four, and it was a lovely experience. The restaurant has returned to its original charm, resembling an old house adorned with graffiti. We sat in a spacious booth in the corner while we ordered our drinks. The margarita was a bit on the weak side. However, the chips and salsa were unmatched; the homemade chips are addictive, and the habanero salsa adds a delightful kick. We ordered several carne tampiqueñas, enchiladas, and another carne dish, all of which were excellent and beautifully presented. You can't go wrong with steak wrapped in speck! The service started off a bit slow but improved as the meal went on. Our server was also very accommodating in splitting the checks among several credit cards. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by for outstanding Mexican food when you're nearby.
We're back! It was fantastic to hear that they've returned to being a full-service restaurant and are once again serving dinner—yay! There's a unique atmosphere at the place that's hard to describe, but you can tell that people truly enjoy coming here to eat. The same delicious salsa is still available, and it's still one of our favorites in the valley. Being creatures of habit, we started with a salad and extra blue cheese dressing. Mr. Picky ordered his usual chili relleno, while I opted for the shrimp banderillas (with extra cheese on the rice and extra mushrooms) to see if it’s still as delightful as before. It was very decadent and made for a great dish to share. We must come back to familiarize ourselves with the menu and try the soups that we used to love.
I found this place only through the icy sought for Mexican food and it was the best-rated Mexican restaurant so we decided to give it a try. this place is definitiw a hole in the wall, does not look like a restaurant like a house in the middle of nowhere. I have the taquitos and my man got a pfarrer taco and a burrito. the taquitos were definitiw not what I expected, they saw more like mini chimichangas, but they were so delicious! my man said his burrito was good, but I would be careful to order the al pastor lol because it is definitiw not gay. it is way to fresh and I think they get meat hookups when they know what I mean (not tryna spread a lie, but my man know how fresh meat tastes like)
I have lived in the acres for years and have been eating at Azteca and enjoying it the entire time. Tonight I got the enchilada suizas and brought it home, where I discovered the chicken was raw. I called to let them know and they asked me to bring it in, so I did. I did not ask for a replacement or a refund. When I got there they tried to tell me that this was onion. I didn 't know onion was squishy and had fat. It 's RAW chicken. They even tried to tell me that the enchiladas can be more rare . Chicken can 't be rare . I 'll never be back because this is disgusting
