C'est La Vie Bistro Lancaster Pa

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The fall salad plus adding chicken was delicious. My son also really liked his pizza. Our waiter, Michael, was excellent. The restaurant was cozy and welcoming. I would definitely recommend!

A nice change of pace. Unbelievable service from Benjamin. I've traveled extensively in U.S. and abroad and he is as good a waiter as I've had. Very relaxing. Menu variety excellent. Definitely plan on going back soon.

First time at C'est La Vie and it was a nice experience. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. Swanky Casual if you will. Service was pleasant, but a little slow and aloof for my liking. Especially considering we were seated at the bar. We started off with a tap beer and the Belvedere (House Espresso Martini) which was delicious. For apps we got the deviled eggs with crab and a Caesar salad. The deviled eggs were very good and Caesar was the best I've had in a while. For dinner we split the roast beef. I will admit, this was a little lack luster. It really was more of a beef stew than a roast beef. Also, weird complaint here, but it came out too hot. Sizzling on a cast iron pan it took at least 20 minutes to be edible and at that point it was over cooked. Just not a presentation we expected. We ended with delicious crepe brûlée and chocolate rocher, which were delightful. Overall we definitely itself would go back. Just wouldn't order the roast beef again and would expect it to be a slower paced evening.

I have eaten here 3 times. Each time I had something different. I have had business lunches here and a personal lunch. The atmosphere is great. Lunch service is prompt. The menu definitely has a French accent and offers many options to chose from. Highly recommend the crab cake sandwich. The outdoor area is very nice especially on market days when it is full of people and activity. This is in my standard rotation for lunches when in town. Can’t wait to try dinner sometime.
