The food was great and the service, although they say that it is slow, is still fast and polite. The interior is very nice. But I think the floor should have been done in white and black tiles. But it's a nice step change.
This place is so sweet! It is very small and cozy so you might have a waiting time, but when we left, waiting was reasonable. Even if we were called to sit, we decided to eat at the switch for the whole diner experience. The server we had was really nice, the food was good. I had the filled grilled cheese that was a burger between two grilled cheeses. It was a lot!!! It was good, but the burger could have seasoned a little. All in all, it was a good outing. Note: I didn't get one, but the milkshakes looked really good.
Ready to rock and roll in this 50 a themed diner. The layout has a 50s vibe with corresponding music for the period. Generous portion sizes and cheap prices. Try your omelette with cinnamon raisin bread. The bread alone is so good! You want to try something Amish? Order scrap with your meal. Loved the omelet and the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes. I wish they had a jukebox, but for the quality and quantity you get, it is worth the visit,
In short, this is a diner we'd probably try to visit again (maybe a little earlier in the day)... and we live about an hour away. Daughter had a vball tournament in the area we wanted to grab something to eat before trekking home. Found this diner fairly close by on Google. Besides the servers not exactly dressing the part, this small diner (probably less than 50 patrons) kinda brings you back to that era. Though no room for typical 50's booths, everything else seemed to fit comfortably. They even had fun pic opportunities outside to start bringing you back in time. We got there about 6 PM ish, waited for a table for 6 (2 adults 4 kiddos) for about 20 min, got our food about 6:45ish they started closing everything down at 6:55 sharp. I mean, signs were changing from open to closed any unused chairs were being turned upside down before 7 PM; even though over half the chairs were still occupied. So, besides feeling a bit rushed to get out (they gave us styrofoam cups instead of typical sunday cups others received for their desserts), servers were nice food was fantastic. We were the last ones out of their hair about 7:10ish.
