Lancaster Coffee Co. has become one of my recent favorite coffee shops. Between the their kind staff, perfect lattes and Macaroon selection there truly isn’t a cafe near by that comes close!Pictured I have the iced caramel macchiato. If you are a bagel lover like myself I highly recommend trying theirs, they are the fluffiest softest bagels!?
Updating my review from earlier this spring as they seemed to have hired more staff and worked out a lot of the kinks. missed 5 stars because the prices are STEEP (a cold brew with a splash of oatmilk comes out to over $6, and by the time you 've tipped the cashier/batista it 's over $7 and because the decor is a little cringe (signs that say adulting is hard, etc. overall decent cafe and I 'm glad it 's in the neighborhood, but the prices prevent me from coming more regularly.I 'll start by saying that I understand that they have stated they have staffing issues, and that I 've really only ever gotten simple coffees/iced coffees there, so i can 't speak to the quality of the food. however, the reason for the less than stellar review is that they can 't seem to stick to their posted hours. there 's almost no rhyme or reason. they state that they 're closed on Wednesdays, but were open all day yesterday on a Wednesday. today, on Thursday, they state they open at 8 and it 's 9:30 and there are no signs of life. could be extremely frustrating if you drive/travel to come here specifically. my recommendation would be to call beforehand to make sure they 're open.
Note: NOT ACCESSIBLE. The bathroom is up the stairs. The food is good, though not especially healthy. Drinks are fairly priced and well made. There's a good selection of classic drinks and also of seasonal beverages. The staff seemed either timid, tired, or otherwise checked out at 10am. I felt like it would be best if I didn't ask too many questions so I wouldn't bother them, but I suppose they were nice enough. They don't need to be my friends.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible. The entryway and hall are narrow and the bathroom is up the stairs.
Hidden Gem in the heart of revived downtown Lancaster. If you want great coffee and great food reasonably priced, this is your place. ?Food: 5/5
