Papa John's Pizza - Lancaster

This is my favorite pizza chain! The quality is consistently excellent. I really appreciate being able to easily order through the app and track my pizza. I prefer picking it up rather than having it delivered since they're currently short on drivers.

I ordered takeout for a total of $50. My order went through, and while I was on my way at 9:15, I arrived in front of the store only to find that my order was canceled at around 9:28 PM. The restaurant closes at 10 PM, so I'm curious why the door was already closed before that time. Is it due to lazy employees or something else?

My family and I visited this restaurant after attending a show at the Sight and Sound Theater, and I had to pinch myself to believe what was happening. We drove four and a half hours to see the show and ended up at this Papa John's. My family ordered two pizzas to go with some seafood from the restaurant next door. I decided to return after they placed their order to get another pizza, but I was told they were too busy to take my order. The staff first asked if I was ordering or picking up, and when I said I wanted to place an order, he insisted they couldn't accommodate me due to being busy. I was taken aback and mentioned that I had just been there a few minutes ago. I shared this with my family, and they were just as shocked because normally, a restaurant would inform the customer of their busy status and allow them to decide whether to wait. I do plan on returning to Pennsylvania, but I will never go back to this establishment again!

The girl that works here, I think her name was Angie, was extremely rude with a terrible attitude. They short toppings on the pizza to try to increase profits by screwing their customers. Check your pizza before you leave, and if it looks empty, and notlike the picture, make them remake it. The manager seems extremely dimwitted when you call to complain about the terribleexperience and the horrible quality pizza. Either he doesn't care, or is incapable of managing a store. Either way he seems likethe kind that's been at a retail pizza store for a decade because he couldn't make it doing anything else. My advice is thereare a dozen great pizza places around that deliver. Order from any of them. It's cheaper and better pizza. And their kitchenslook alot cleaner than papa John's. You're welcome.

Ordered from here when I stayed at a Hotel in Feb 2022. They exceeded my expectations. They had my pizza to me in less then 30 mins and it was piping hot. Nice staff and fresh pizza.
