Vargo's Pizzeria - Lancaster

I have ordered a sheet pizza from this restaurant a few times and it has always been reasonably priced and tasty. I also ordered wings from them once in the past, but they did not meet the owner's standards. He remade them to ensure they were good before I received them.

Delicious! The sauce is amazing and they have an amazing salad bar and soup of the day selection for lunch. The owner, is the best! Also helps rescue dogs and cats in the community which makes me love the owner and pizza even more!

I understand they just reopened for lunch and there is no help there. I waited extra time for the food and it was undercooked. Fries were soggy and close to raw, the pizza sub would have been great, but again, not toasted long enough, felt like it should have been left in the oven a little longer. Pepperoni was soggy and roll was soggy. Again, I think it had great potential, had it had time to cook. The driver, was great, so kudos to her!!

Should be called Perfect Pizza. Delicious! There are a half dozen pizza places within a mile of my home near Main and Transit. Vargo's is 4.5 miles (9 miles round trip) from me and I choose to go there over all the other because it is so darn good. It's better the next day than the others and after one bite you can tell they buy their ingredients from a top notch distributer. A+
