Brasserie At The Royal King's Arms

Despite booking on Open Table for 9pm and contacting them to say we would be with them by 9.15pm due to horrendous traffic delays from Hampshire we arrived and were told the kitchen was closed and there was nothing they could do. Our booking wasn’t even acknowledged. We didn’t make a big deal about it as it was late and we wanted to find somewhere else to eat which we did! Very disappointing.

Absolute disaster turned up for booking at 8:15 and the place was closed !!! No warning Nothing!! Fuming!!! Fortunately there was a nice place the Merchants across the road who were willing to accommodate us at such short notice. Will not trust Open Table again

Lovely wee restaurant, server was polite and made good conversation. The food was very good with music in the background that wasn’t blaring out. All in all in cheered up and miserable night of weather.

Awful experience, our waitress an Eastern European lady was very rude not only to us but to tables around us. Please read reviews below, I ignored the negative reviews and I really regret it
