Trungs Chinese Vietnamese - Lancaster

WOW! that's what we all said, After trying to book a table for last Saturday evening without success because it was fully booked, we ended up at Babar Elephant which we love but decided to make sure we got in this Saturday and it most certainly didn't disappoint. The service is really excellent and nothing was too much trouble, then the starter's arrived, the Mixed starter for 2 is a real plateful that 3 of us shared, aswell as a portion of those highly recommended King Do Ribs..................ridiculously good! Mains included the Cantonese special, the Surf Turf sizzle dish and the Hong Kong style Duck, we also added a portion of Shredded Duck rice and Chow mein noodle for good measure. In all honesty, the three of us all said the same thing, that was the BEST Chinese food we have ever eaten, perfect in every way. From here on in there's no point going anywhere else and we live in Heysham, My only criticism and it's a small one, please embrace your wonderful culture and make us feel like we're visiting a Chinese influenced restaurant both with the interior and especially the background music, Thank you for a wonderful experience and we'll definitely be returning.

This restaurant used to be nice, but it seems to never be open anymore. I tried calling last week and tonight to order food, but it seems impossible to get through. I used to come here often, but now I'm having difficulty.

I cannot say enough good things about this amazing Chinese restaurant, Trungs. We are always impressed with everything here. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The service is top-notch, with efficient staff who remember our order even though we only visit when on vacation. The food is absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked with a wonderful mix of flavors - the best Chinese food we have ever had. We enjoyed crispy duck with pancakes, followed by Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean sauce, hot and spicy chicken with fried rice and noodles. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxing. Overall, another fantastic meal. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area on vacation.

Had a meal here for my dads birthday, it was amazing food and we have been a few times now and always the same. Staff are absolutely lovely and really helpful and a lovely environment. Best Chinese food and restaurant in the area! Would definitely recommend!
