Doble Gustazo - Land o Lakes

Seen this place a while, and decided to give it a try. We had arroz con gandules, chicharrón de pollo, pork chunks, mofongo, tostones con mayuketchup y empanadas de carne. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our favorites were the tostones, mofongo, and arroz con gandules. The meats were crunchy, the way they should be for this dish, but our only complaint is that they lacked flavor. Even the beef in the empanadas, had no flavor. A bit of sofrito, salsa de tomate, sazón and it would have made a big difference. Cute little place. Great parking. Easy to get to, especially if you come the back way. Friendly people.

I have been here multiple times and every time I receive consistently delicious food. The empanadas are great, the mofongo is great, the rice with gandule is great! Everything is great. Happy to see they expanded. Prices are a bit more but atleast you know your getting some good food! (Dont mind that 1 shrimp in the picture, I couldnt help but eat some before the pic was taken)

Great place to eat! Food is very fresh and authentic! Family owned and super nice! Definitely recommend.

Moved to Land O Lakes area 3 months ago from NY/PA area and have been searching for all the Food Spots ... WE FOUND A W-I-N-N-N-N-N-E-E-E-R-R-R!!! I ordered...Don 't judge me ; It was for my family and I! Chicharron de Pollo(Fried Chicken Seasoned bone-in crunchy fried with Fresh Plantains Camarones (Al Ajillo over Monfongo Garlic Shrimps sautéd on butter with garlic and our seasoning over (Green Mashed Plantains with Garlic Flavor and Butter Empanada de Pollo (Chicken Arroz (Rice with Peas Delicioso-o-o-o and I will be back to try other menu picks. I highly recommend giving this place a try your taste buds and stomach will thank you!!!

Fire experience, being in the army I don?t get to eat many good treats or food that?s rich in flavor. But when I get the chance I always love to come here. Great food and people!
