Being vegetarian and a regular visitor to Southern India I tried out this restaurant. I was very disappointed. I sat at a table with my back to the wall, because I was alone. A waiter was laying the table next to mine for 12 people....He studiously ignored me. After a while I called him and asked for a menu. He chucked It at me. I had to call him again to order. He returned with cutlery and a napkin, which he put down in the middle of the table and returned to meticulously laying the other table. The food when it came was good enough but not sensational. Just typical of what every other Indian restaurant in Germany is serving. Like Chinese restaurants, Indian restaurants comprise, serving what the locals expect of them. It is not really Indian to serve so many meat and fish dishes. After I while I wanted to remind the waiter about my table water, but he had disappeared. The barman brought it immediately and apologised profusely that his colleague had failed to bring it. I must have been unlucky with my waiter, maybe his feet were hurting! If I ever eat there again I will be sure to avoid his station.
Had lunch on 24 Dec with my wife as we were travelling towards Munich. Found Ganesha by conincidence when walking through Landsberg. What a positive surprise. The restaurant looks very classy inside and is all clean. The staff all from India are very...attentive and friendly, service is fast. The food was amazing, authentic and full of flavor. The price is also very reasonable. We can highly recommend Ganesha restaurant to anyone who likes indian food or wants to give it a try. Despite it being a 3 hour drive from us, we will definitely go again. Thumbs up!
We haven't been to an Indian in a long time. Got fed up with the Gateway to India in Inning (Too expensive and food got worse and worse every time we went). The Ganesha was a very positive surprise and we will be back soon!...Incredible samosas! Fresh and really tasty. The special thali we tried out to get a taste of all their flavors. Was very nice too. We didn't like the sweet duck. But everything else was excellent! Looking forward to next time
Es hat uns Mittags der leckere Duft angezogen und wir haben uns kurzfristig entschieden auf der Terrasse - sprich dem Marktplatz in Landsberg Platz zu nehmen. Klasse Lage und die indische Küche ein Gedicht. Super lecker, netter Service, sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
