Sehr gutes Indisches Essen. Kellner war sehr freundlich und konnte auch sehr gute Empfehlungen aussprechen. Serviert wird das essen in kleinen Kupferkessel, was echt super aussieht und das Auge isst bekanntlich mit. Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut.
I was on family holiday in Vienna and being vegetarians we were looking for good indian restaurants. We discovered Goa restaurant by chance as we were walking past it. We went back same day for evening dinner and all the vegetarian dishes we ordered were very good. My son and daughter both were impressed with taste considering we haven't had good Indian food outside UK before. The restaurant looked clean and simply from inside, but we sat outside to enjoy the view and weather as it was a warm evening. The waiter was helpful and friendly, overall service very good. We recommend anyone visiting Vienna and looking for good Indian food to try them out. This review is for vegetarian menu as we do not eat meat. Hope this helps someone :
When i got out of U4 heiligenstadt, still wondering where i could meet my dad for a dinner close by, i remembered a friend mentioning the goa indian restaurant just around the corner. so, there we went. what i didn't know was that it would be my dad's first ever experience with indian food, and what i didn't expect was to find the most amazing chicken tikka masala i have tasted so far! this was actually the dish my dad chose after consulting the brilliant waiter and myself. i had my favourite vegetarian dish, dhal makhani, which was already very nice; but after sampling the tikka, i knew THAT in itself would be a reason to return to the goa time and again! almost needless to say my dad immediately became a fan of indian food... the restaurant interior is rather simple but nice, the waiter had an exceptionally competent and friendly demeanor, and the food was absolutely delicious as well as reasonably priced; each main dish even comes with rice included. the venue is open every day for lunch and dinner, does takeaway and delivers (from as little as € 9. even for free; below €9. delivery is € 1.50) in the 2., 9., 18., 19. and 20th districts. given all of that, this place is definitely to be recommended.
