I celebrated my graduation party in this beautiful location. the owner managed to meet every request and the room staff was really efficient. food and wine of the exceptional house . absolutely to try!
A good appetizer, good parme. the idea of the loin to good malaise, but too hard the loin itself wrong kitchen was almost a insole. dishes in every way abundant. excessively slow and disorganized in excessive service the waiting time between a plate and the other half an hour abundant. They're making wine. I'm not going back.
I know this winery agriturismo since many years ago and I always had great meals and wonderful welcomes every time I came year. Finally, after the craziness of the last almost 2 years of pandemic, I was able to go back to the area with a group of American-Chinese girls and we booked a tasting lunch with a winery visit. As always we had a great and warm welcome. Together with Luana we decided a menù while my guests were visiting the winery with Bonfiglio Carra and as soon as the girls came back to the table the food was already on the table. Impeccable, quick like I needed, with some weird requests as a 2 liters of hot water with lemon for my guests. The food was as usual tasty and very good at a reasonable price. The food was good quality but portions were scarse, served in those big plates with a small pit, which allows to make small portions but you have the impression the food is served stylishly (see pictures). The young waiter with the beard is knowledgeable and spends some time to have a chat with customers to explain how the products are made, but then you get the surprise: What we did no like and think is highly unprofessional and dishonest is the fact that we ordered three plates of cured meat (culatello, culaccia, ham, salami, each from euro 10,00 to 13,00) and the staff took the initiative, without even asking, to bring only an allegedely bigger plate for the three of us, which allowed them to put less meat on the plate. The waiter just said: We put the cured meat on one plate , end of the story. As a result the cured meat was not enough for us all but we paid it 33 euro!. As it was more or less 300 grams, as a result we paid it at least 100 euro/kilo: that 's a rip off!
