Doris' European Delicacies - Langley

Not worth the visit! Ownership change brought this: unfriendly owners, higher prices, less quality product. Several items at or near expiry date! Will never return, enjoy retirement Doris.....

Because fuel is cheaper at the country side than in Vancouver I used to combine filling the car tank and shop at the close by Delicatessen shop of Doris. As long as she was there, I had nothing to complain. As soon as the owner changed, the delicatessen flair was gone. Now mediocre merchandise and overprized items like coffee( I can get the same coffee in Vancouver for 4.00$ per pound less) rule the store. To top it off I bought some Tirolian bacon, which I had to throw out at home because it stank. I am certain that I shall never return.

The new owner has cleaned something, but his behavior leaves much to be desired. not even near good ol’Doris! this new guy needs a training how to deal with the public! must hate his job, will not be back!

So the new owners do not understand as carving is pork and not chicken and switch. they no longer serve it on a bungalow said they go stale. the place has gone into the ****, will not return it to understand how to recommend German...foods that I do not recommend the carving sandwich.

Here we often get sandwiches. they charge a fair price. they also sell typical Deli products and sorted Dutch tasty.
