The staff was awesome, especially the owner's son who was a hard worker and provided excellent customer service. However, there was another female employee who seemed unaware of her surroundings and was not helping out while the son was running around attending to customers. Despite this, the son made up for her lack of effort and deserves an A+ for his work ethic.
We live about a half hour drive away, but it was totally worth coming out to Langley just for this. Having recently returned from a trip to Montreal, I can say this is pretty much as good a smoke meat sandwich as you can get short of flying across the country. Poutine was wonderful, my brother's Rueben was absolutely mouthwatering. I think my panini could have been pressed a bit longer, it didn't have the nice grill marks, but it still tasted great. Make sure to ask for marbled meat (or even the juicy meat if you don't mind it being extra fatty).
I found the beef to be a bit dry, but overall it was good. The poutine was outstanding, with fries reminiscent of fish and chips, flavorful gravy that wasn't overly salty or heavy, and soft, not too dry cheese.
Delicious. Mustard is en pointe. The meat is perfect. I think the only thing that would have added is super crunchy house made potato chips instead of fries, texture wise to add to the perfect sandwich.
After being away for some time, I decided to visit my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, my favorite dish, the Oh Canada (see second photo), was taken off the menu. However, I discovered that it is still available as a "hidden menu item." So next time you visit, be sure to ask about it, as many people may not be aware of its existence.
